How we operate in Nevada

Nevada Revised Statutes 493.109 makes it a misdemeanor to fly a drone within 5 miles of an airport without permission, or within 500 feet horizontally or 250 feet vertically of a critical facility such as a refinery, pipeline, water plant, mine, or prison, without written consent.
Nevada Revised Statutes 493.103 creates a civil trespass claim, with treble damages available, against a drone operator who flies below 250 feet over private property after the owner has objected to a prior flight.
Nevada has no statute that flatly preempts local drone ordinances; cities and counties can still regulate drone takeoff and landing on property they control, while airspace regulation stays federal.
Las Vegas: Las Vegas Municipal Code 13.58.030 bars launching or landing a drone on any public street, highway or other public right-of-way, or on any parking lot open to the public.
Las Vegas: Las Vegas Municipal Code 13.36.020 bars remote-controlled aircraft, read to include drones, from city parks and their parking lots; some Clark County-operated parks allow drone flying instead.
Harry Reid International Airport (formerly McCarran) sits under Class B airspace covering most of the Las Vegas Valley, including the Strip and downtown; LAANC authorization is required there and in the area's Class C, D, and surface-E zones, though it drops to zero near the runways.
Nevada exempts work to repair or maintain property valued under $1,000 in combined labor and materials from State Contractors Board licensing, with exceptions for permitted work and certain trades; the Board's published exemptions do not separately name pressure washing.
Clark County guidance allows light pressure-washing water free of soap, oil and contaminants to enter the storm drain, but anything heavier must be contained and disposed of off site because Las Vegas Valley storm drains flow untreated into Lake Mead.

A prospective tenant walkthrough was booked for Thursday and the job was only confirmed on Monday afternoon. Lifts and scaffolding could not clean the building in the time available, and nothing could block the entrances or take over the parking lot.
